Introduction
We had the incredible opportunity to embark on a musical journey aboard the magnificent MSC Bellissima as it circumnavigated Japan. What a privilege to perform 3750 passengers our renditions of "Unchained Melody", "Nessun Dorma," and "Bring Him Home" from Les Misérables. This seemed to go down well with e guests as some of the feed back that we were the hi light of their cruise which we were very humbled by considering the destinations we visited.
Musical experiences on board MSC Bellissima
The MSC Bellissima is renowned for its exceptional entertainment offerings, and the onboard theatre, named the London Theatre, provided a stunning venue for our performances. With its state-of-the-art technology and luxurious seating, it created an intimate atmosphere that allowed the audience to fully immerse themselves in the music.
In addition to the theatre, the ship also boasted numerous lounges and bars where live music performances took place throughout the day. Next on our itinerary was Hakodate, a charming port city located in the southern part of Hokkaido. The city's rich history and stunning natural beauty made it a perfect destination for both cultural and outdoor enthusiasts. We had the chance to visit the famous Hakodate Morning Market, where we indulged in fresh seafood and traditional Japanese delicacies.
From Hakodate, we set sail for Akita, a city famous for its traditional festivals and picturesque landscapes. We had the opportunity to witness a mesmerizing performance of the Kanto Festival, where participants balance long bamboo poles adorned with lanterns on their foreheads. The sight of the glowing lanterns illuminating the night sky was truly a sight to behold.
Our next port of call was Busan, South Korea. While not technically in Japan, this vibrant city was a welcomed addition to our itinerary. The bustling markets, beautiful temples, and delicious street food provided a unique cultural experience that added another layer of excitement to our journey.
Our final stop in Japan was Osaka, a city known for its vibrant nightlife, delicious street food, and historical landmarks. We spent our days exploring the majestic Osaka Castle, strolling through the vibrant Dotonbori district, and indulging in mouthwatering takoyaki (octopus balls which are AMAZING!!) from street vendors.

In addition to the musical performances, the MSC Bellissima offered a wide range of entertainment options that catered to all interests. From Broadway-style shows to comedy acts and live music performances, there was never a dull moment on board.
One of the standout shows was the breathtaking acrobatics, mesmerising choreography, and captivating storytelling left us and the audience in awe. It was a truly immersive experience that showcased the incredible talent of the performers.

From jazz and blues to pop and rock, there was something to suit every musical taste. The talented musicians created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that had passengers dancing and singing along into the early hours of the morning.
