Exploring the Untouched Wonders: from Urshaia to Cape Verde visiting the Falklands, South Georgia, and Tristan Da Cunha onboard Seabourn Venture

I am beyond thrilled to share with you our recent experience from our first time working with Seabourn on their Expedition Ship, The Venture!

Imagine our excitement sailing through the uncharted waters, from Urshaia, Argentina to Cape Verde, stopping off at some of the worlds most remote islands and taking in some incredible wildlife including king penguins, albatross, leopard seals, elephant seals and getting unclose and personal with fur seals and even catching a glimpse of a whale shark!!

During our time on board we where tasked with delivering six unique classical shows, these included two classical crossover shows which showcased our fan favourites such as Nights in White Satin and Unchained Melody but also new material such as Miserere and Va Pensiero (Another World). In addition to these shows we also performed a show featuring the hits of the Rat Pack and that iconic big band sound, and a night at the musicals capturing the raw emotion of the songs from Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera & Les Miserables.

But the show that promised to be the most exciting of them all is the brand new symphonic Beatles performance. This show had it's first outing on Seabourn Venture and it didn't disappoint! A celebration of one of the greatest bands in history with their music being reimagined in a symphonic way which was enhanced further by the bespoke videos and animations on screen really brought it all together.

From the remote Ascension Islands and Tristan da Cunha to climbing the 699 steps of Jacobs ladder in Saint Helena this trip one definitely a stand out even for us seasoned cruised but nothing can compare to the mesmerising South Georgia Islands, which is arguably one of the most magical places for wildlife in the world, we had the privilege of spotting king penguins, albatrosses, leopard seals, fur seals, and elephant seals, as well as a rare moment with a whale shark.

Thank you Seabourn for bringing us on board to entertain your guests on a cruise of a life time.
